About Us
In villages and towns across Turkey, when children first had their ears pierced, a red thread was tied instead of earrings. This was done to prevent allergic reactions, avoid carrying valuable materials, and keep the ear piercings open. Over time, this practice evolved into a cherished tradition.
As a child, I was fascinated by the red threads I always saw on my grandmother's ears. I loved them so much that I wanted the same and even carried a piece in my hands for years.
Inspired by this tradition, I decided to wear a red thread in my ear, and I noticed it caught everyone's attention. People were constantly asking about it.
For centuries, the color red has been believed to ward off the evil eye and bad energy, both in Turkey and around the world. That’s when I thought, why not create these myself and share them with others?
